What does this mean?

STEM is a curriculum approach in educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach based on real-world applications.

STEM.org evaluated our approach and programmes and certified them to have met the following standards:

1. Align to Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Math standards
2. Support the development of student’s 21st Century Skills
3. Engage students through hands-on learning and collaboration

This accreditation serves as a standard for STEM programmes. This accreditation gives a sense of validity to our lesson experiences as our curriculum focuses on developing thinking and inquiry skills and soft skills, like communication, resilience and teamwork. This achievement exhibits true excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education.
